Dell also reversed course on the wonky capacitive function row from the previous models — which again, looked cool, but had some serious usability issues. God forbid you were outside and wanted to change the volume level! This XPS 14 brings back a normal keyed function row, which is easier to touch type on and actually works in direct sunlight.
